DEEPEN YOUR PRESENCE

Contemplative Practices

Practices that ground within and without, these rich methods are rooted in ancient wisdom traditions as well as modern knowledge of understanding, both holding together a stream of understanding that can lead to growth and healing.
Each practice draws upon each, but ultimately is filtered through my own integration of each path and ultimately oriented toward balance. Each represents knowledge from outside and from within, from years of learning and study as well as my own experiential knowledge. Take these as opportunities to explore new windows of healing, and, if it does not resonate, leave it. what works and feels good, honor, what feels misaligned give yourself the permission to abandon. All that is required is your curiosity and enough awareness to know what works for you and what does not, only you have that knowledge.

Somatic Meditations

These meditative resources function as a way to slowly integrate you back within. Here we focus on interoceptive skill building, and sensory awareness.
The purpose here is simple, like any meditative practice, we look to gain new neural pathways, yet, rather than focusing on breath or thoughts, we begin to notice the influx of information that naturally arises from the body. Each practice is intended to rebuild your relationship to that information.
Naturally, we may notice discomfort, and, we will be challenged to begin to become aware of more than discomfort, but the subtle micro information to macro expressions, both that which brings a salubrious response to that which brings avoidance, each will be reconciled as you learn to integrate both into your world of awareness.

Spiritual Formation

Here we begin to explore practices that begin to attune you into deepening your life in both action and contemplation. Both doing and being. We recognize the necessary patterns for growth and include this as an essential process to your developmental understanding and integrating yourself from the world of trauma and disconnect, back to wholeness and connection.
These will serve as foundational practical practices and reflective pieces that begin to incorporate nuance and challenge to understanding yourself and the world. Some practices will explore the mind and how the structural components can be changed in order to facilitate a broadening of thought that allows for a firm exodus of black and white thinking to developing a framing that permits for complexity and paradox.
Lastly, we take time to explore rich strands of spiritual practices that bring back into the conversation spiritual development and skills that are rooted in knowledge - framing spiritual understanding as a reality we can know, as well as experience.
